The 4th of July is certainly our most attended special event of the year. 11 am - 3rd Annual Bear Day in Town Park
7:30 pm - Chamber Music Series: Sunberg & Biggers
Flute/Harp Duo at Moseley Arts Center
10:30 am - Historic District Tour. Walking tour of Lake City's historic district. Meet at the museum at 10:15 am
7 pm - Suzy Bogguss at Sportsmans Backyard Amphitheater
9 am - High Country Craft Fair at Veteran's Park
7 pm - Annual Patriotic Choir Concert at the Armory
8 pm - Ghost Tour Meet at Museum
8 am - Book Sale begins at John Wagner Library (206 N Silver)
8 am - All Your Can Eat Pancake Breakfast for only $8! Event will be held at the LC School yard.
LC School Garage Sale at the School Yard until 2 pm
10 am - Airforce Flyover
11 am(ish) - Register for a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament hosted by the LCCS following the 4th of July parade. $50 per team.
11:30 am(ish) Following the Parade:
* Reading of the Declaration of Independence at Hinsdale County Museum
* Presentation of the Flags by the Veterans Honor Guard - Town Park
* Lake City Stinger Band Plays & National Anthem by Taylor Snow
Races begin for all ages!!
Races include walking age to 70+.
Types: Foot races, sack races, shoe kick, balloon & egg toss. Food featuring hot dogs, turkey legs, crepes, jambalaya, fresh salsa and chips, dippin dots, hand-crafted sodas, and more! Beer and margarita booth (must be 21 years of age to purchase) Artisan booths - local photography, jewelry, hand-made body goods, face painting and more!
4 pm - BINGO will be hosted in Town Park after the races. Weather permitting. $5 a card or 5 for $20. 10 games. Cash and merchandise prizes.
6 pm - Lake City Old Cowboy Shot-Out performance at the corner of 4th and Silver Street.
7 pm - Street Dance on Silver St. featuring Blue Sky Band
9 pm(ish) - Fireworks hosted by Lake City Pyro Technics Team
